The Role
You'll be the Head of Community at Nero, working directly with Eddie (CEO) to define Nero's online presence & set the standard for what an artist-first platform looks like.
You'll have significant autonomy to shape our voice, create content, design community systems, and help deliver a world-class experience for the 500,000+ artists and fans who use Nero every month.
What you'll work on:
- Expanding our social presence & strategy across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube & more
- Owning and executing content creation
- Capturing and repurposing content posted by the Nero community
- Experimenting with new ways to grow and engage our community
- Responding to DMs and emails, solving problems with empathy and speed
- Acting as the voice of the community internally—bringing insights back to the team
- Supporting and planning events
Who You Are
Must-haves:
- 1+ years of relevant experience (open to exceptional new grads)
- Hands-on experience with Canva, Notion, Buffer, Video Editing tools
- Deep fluency in social media culture and trends
- Strong visual and design taste—you know what looks good and how to ship it
- High ownership: you identify problems and execute without hand-holding
- Willingness to support live events or launches, including some weekends
Nice-to-haves:
- Have grown social media accounts to 100k+ followers
- Startup experience
- Based in LA or SF
- Music industry & livestream economy experience
Personality-wise:
- You love music and want to help artists and creators
- You're down for adventure. We've worked from Mexico for a month, traveled to music conferences around the US, stuff like that.

Compensation & Logistics
- Salary: $80k-$110k + equity based on experience
- Location: Remote/Hybrid option
- Start date: ASAP
