Role: Engineering Manager, Frontend Platform (Ambient AI) Location: Mountain View / SF / LA / NYC Work: Hybrid (1–3 days in office) Comp: $200k–$250k base + equity Experience: 7+ years (3+ managing) Employment: Full-time

Role summary: Lead and grow the Frontend Platform team powering Ambient AI clinician-facing experiences. Own the FE platform across web/mobile/embedded, architect real-time and async workflows (audio capture, streaming, AI state transitions), and build shared UI primitives / design systems in a healthcare-grade environment.

Key skills Must-have: Engineering management (frontend/platform), React, TypeScript, frontend platform / design systems Strong: Real-time / data-intensive UX, cross-functional leadership Bonus: AI/ML-powered UX, healthcare / regulated domains

Scoring criteria — Critical (must clear)

• CRITICAL 7+ years total engineering experience (senior-IC depth before management)
• CRITICAL 3+ years managing frontend or platform teams (actual people management, not just tech lead)
• CRITICAL Has owned shared UI infrastructure, design systems, or frontend platforms used by multiple product teams
• CRITICAL Strong modern frontend stack — React, TypeScript, modern build tooling
• CRITICAL Able to be in office 1–3 days/week in Mountain View, SF, LA, or NYC
