Role: Senior Mobile Infrastructure Engineer, Ambient AI Location: Mountain View / SF / LA / NYC (onsite; open to relocation for the right candidate) Work: Onsite Comp: $170k–$240k base + equity Experience: 5+ years Employment: Full-time

Role summary: Own and evolve the mobile platform across iOS, Android and cross-platform surfaces — real-time audio capture, streaming, chunked uploads, offline-first sync, performance, observability and release infra. Current stack is Flutter with native Swift/iOS and Kotlin/Android. Mission-critical, not a CRUD app.

Key skills Must-have: iOS / Swift, Android / Kotlin, mobile infrastructure Strong: Flutter, CI/CD for mobile, mobile observability Bonus: Audio/streaming, offline-first / sync engines

Scoring criteria — Critical (must clear)

• CRITICAL 5+ years professional mobile development experience
• CRITICAL Strong native Swift/iOS or Kotlin/Android depth (lifecycle, background execution, permissions, performance)
• CRITICAL Has built or maintained production-grade mobile infrastructure at scale
• CRITICAL On-site in Mountain View, SF, LA, or NYC (open to relocation)

Important (strong pluses)

• IMPORTANT Cross-platform experience (Flutter, React Native, KMP — Flutter a plus)
• IMPORTANT CI/CD + release engineering (signing, App Store / Play Store)
• IMPORTANT Mobile observability + reliability (reduced crashes, improved release quality)
• IMPORTANT Has owned meaningful parts of a mobile stack end-to-end
