About Corgi Insurance
We're an AI-powered insurtech startup based in San Francisco, building the future of insurance. We're growing fast, and we need sharp, reliable people to help us scale. This is a ground-floor opportunity at a company that actually does interesting things — not another faceless corporate finance gig.
The Role
We're looking for a Finance Associate to join our London operations. You'll handle the financial nuts and bolts that keep the business running: bookkeeping, processing fund requests across our subsidiary entities, reconciliations, and general finance admin. This is an execution role — we need someone who gets things done accurately and on time, every time.
What You'll Do
- Day-to-day bookkeeping and maintenance of financial records
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Handle subsidiary fund requests and inter-company transactions
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Manage general finance administration and filing
- Support month-end and year-end processes
- Work closely with the leadership team on ad-hoc finance tasks
What We're Looking For
- AAT qualified (or equivalent — ACA/ACCA foundations, relevant degree, etc.)
- Hands-on bookkeeping experience — you've done this before, not just studied it
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, comfortable with data)
- Meticulous attention to detail — mistakes in finance aren't just annoying, they're expensive
- Trustworthy and reliable — you'll have access to sensitive financial information and we need someone we can count on
- Good communicator who can work independently
Nice to Have
- Studying towards ACCA or CIMA
- Experience in a startup or fast-growing company
- Insurance or fintech background
- Familiarity with cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, etc.)
What We Offer
- Competitive salary: £38,000–£45,000 depending on experience
- A real seat at the table — small team, big impact
- Work with smart people building something genuinely new in insurance
- Growth opportunities as the company scales
