1001 AI — Full-Stack Engineer (Mid, P1)
About 1001 AI: AI-native OS for MENA heavy industries (aviation, construction, ports, energy). Lux Capital / General Catalyst / CIV backed. Engineering team mostly ex-Scale AI / Palantir. Locations: London + Doha + Dubai + Abu Dhabi.
One-line pitch: Prototype with the customer, use the tools we already have, get things done.
Responsibilities:
- Prototype with customers to get features in front of users quickly
- Contribute across the stack, comfortable with frontend and backend
- Help the deploy motion turn customer feedback into product
- Comfortable using existing internal components and not reinventing everything
- Able to polish rough prototypes into stable product features
- Help keep the application consistent and stable across deployments
- Contribute to reusable application patterns across use cases
Requirements:
- 3–5 years shipping production full-stack web apps
- Strong with TypeScript / React and a modern backend (Node, Python, or Go)
- Comfortable working directly with customers during a deployment
- High velocity — ships, iterates, prefers prototypes over docs
- Strong CS fundamentals from a top program or equivalent demonstrated experience
- Uses AI coding agents effectively but remains fully accountable for code quality

- Prior enterprise deployment experience
Pedigree priority: Scale AI engineering, Anthropic, Cohere, Replit, Hive AI, Speak, Mercor, Perplexity, Palantir, Stripe, Linear, Vercel, Mercury, Ramp, top forward-deployed orgs, fast-moving YC AI startups (S22+).
Exclusions: bootcamp-only resumes, portfolio-tier startups, consultancy patterns (TCS / Capgemini / Big-4 digital).
Locations: London, Doha, Dubai, or Abu Dhabi (Qatar priority #1; UAE #2; London = main non-US talent hub).
