Founding Engineer — Reversa AI
Reversa is the operating system for regulation. Six months in, ~100% MoM growth, Fortune 500 customers and top professional services already trusting them, AI-native from the ground up.
They're translating +200M pages of global regulation into a live, mathematically executable knowledge graph navigated by regulatory agents that predict, draft, and execute.
This hire owns the architecture of all of it. Works directly with the three co-founders (Iñigo, Santiago, Tomás). Shapes product and writes code from week one.
What they're looking for
- Builder DNA. Ex-founder, ex-early-engineer, or has built and shipped something serious in front of users.
- Strong technical background in Math, AI, CS, Engineering or similar (preferred, not hard-required if shipped track record is there).
- Deep experience in at least one of: large-scale knowledge graphs, retrieval systems, LLM agent architectures, distributed databases, unstructured data pipelines at scale.
- AI-native. Claude Code is muscle memory. Has opinions on why most agentic systems on the market today are still toys.
- Makes good decisions with incomplete information. Wants to be the technical bar, not match someone else's. Relentless, high agency.
Seniority & profile
- Recent grad or first 1–3 years of work. Junior to mid. Not a senior hire — they want raw builder energy.
- Studies: Math, CS, or similar quantitative.
- Target universities (Spain): ICAI, ETSII (UPM), UPC, UCM, UAM. Spanish privates are weak on the technical side — exception is ICAI.
- Target universities (international): MIT, Stanford, CMU, ETH Zurich, EPFL, Cambridge, Oxford, Imperial, TU Munich.
- Target companies on CV: Amazon and BigTech (Google, Meta, Stripe, Palantir); frontier AI labs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Mistral, Cohere, Hugging Face); top startups (Granola, Wispflow, Vercel, Linear, Notion, Replit, Cursor, early Glovo, early Fever). Or someone who has built and shipped their own thing — counts just as much.
- Red flags: pure CS theory profile with no shipped code; lists tools but can't talk about what they built with them.
Stack
- Python (primary), TypeScript, React, Node.
- Custom agent framework (no off-the-shelf).
- Custom knowledge graph, pgvector, Postgres, Redis.
- AWS / GCP.
- Claude Code is non-negotiable.
Soft signals (apply across all Reversa hires)
- Hustle. Going against the impossible. Most important signal.
- Builder DNA. Has shipped own projects to real users.
- AI-native. Real agent experience.
- High agency. Doesn't wait to be told.
- Direct communication. Argues hard about ideas, not hierarchy.
- Missionary, not mercenary.
- Big red flag: asking about WFH policy or process before asking about the product. Not willing to work weekends by default.
Location & comp
- Madrid only. Mostly in-office. Reasonable WFH flexibility case by case. No London for now.
- €40–70k base + meaningful founding equity. Founding employee, real skin in the game.
Day to day
- Direct work with the three co-founders. Small team, no layers, no managers.
- Customers in the loop from week one.
