Junior Software Engineer (C++) A Sunny Isles Beach, FL-based quant fund is seeking a Junior Software Engineer with a strong foundation in C++, a passion for high-performance systems, and a detail-oriented mindset. This is a hands-on in office role where you’ll be creating and maintaining critical technology and infrastructure that powers our trading workflows. You’ll work closely with multiple departments—trading, operations, and technology—to implement and support systems that handle real-time data and connect internal systems with external counterparties. We are looking for smart programmers who have solid CS fundamentals, love to code, and can thrive in an open and collaborative company culture. This role is primarily focused on C++, with some C#, Python, and database tasks. Prior experience is a plus, but the ability to learn quickly and adapt is essential. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in real-time financial markets and high-performance systems. The role may include occasional support for production systems outside standard business hours. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field • Strong foundation in C++ and computer science fundamentals • 1–3 years of professional software engineering experience preferred, but not required • Detail-oriented and curious about how systems work • General understanding of software development concepts, including source control • Willingness to dive into existing codebases, learn how they function, and find ways to make it more efficient and reliable • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and to analyze and resolve issues quickly Pluses • Exposure to C#, Python, relational databases • Experience with production systems • Interest in learning about financial markets and quant finance
