Senior Software Engineer, Air AI

Role: Senior Software Engineer, Air AI Location: Mountain View / SF / LA / NYC (onsite; open to relocation for the right candidate) Work: Onsite Comp: $170k–$230k base + equity Experience: 4+ years Employment: Full-time

Role summary: Build and scale the Air AI EMR/EHR platform — clinical data models, interoperability (HL7/FHIR), workflow engines, and the services clinicians depend on. Python/TypeScript stack; fast-paced team that deploys daily and works directly with health-system customers.

Key skills Must-have: Software engineering, Python or TypeScript Strong: Backend systems, data modeling, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes

Scoring criteria — Critical (must clear)

• CRITICAL 4+ years professional software development experience
• CRITICAL Strong general software engineering (backend or full-stack)
• CRITICAL Experience with complex data models / systems of record / platform engineering
• CRITICAL Ships fast in production / deploys daily
• CRITICAL On-site in Mountain View, SF, LA, or NYC (open to relocation)

Important (strong pluses)

• IMPORTANT Python and/or TypeScript (core Commure stack)
• IMPORTANT SQL and data modeling at scale
• IMPORTANT Containers + cloud (Docker, Kubernetes)
